2024 Subaru Crosstrek E-Boxer GT Edition looks lit
2024 Singapore Motor Show sees the official debut of the Crosstrek GT Edition
We've already seen Subaru reveal the WRX and WRX Wagon GT Editions yesterday along with the BRZ STI Tuned Edition at the 2024 Singapore Motor Show. However, there's one more vehicle the automaker showed at the annual event.
Also making its presence felt is the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek E-Boxer Hybrid GT Edition. Featuring a more dynamic-looking exterior, the crossover SUV was spruced up thanks to the partnership with renowned engineering firm Giken Co. Limited.
Subaru designer Masahiko “Jack” Kobayashi led the development of the Crosstrek GT Edition and has over 12 Subaru production vehicles globally. The list includes the WRX STI and developments of the new GT Edition designs for the Motor Image Group.

Back to the vehicle itself, the Crosstrek E-Boxer Hybrid GT Edition is fitted with aggressive front, side, and rear under spoilers for a sportier look. It also gets a new roof spoiler that further highlights the vehicle's snazzier look. Last but not least are the 18-inch GT Edition alloy wheels that complete the exterior makeover of the Crosstrek.
The interior largely remains the same and features the tablet-inspired 11.6-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, aluminum pedals, power-adjustable front seats with driver memory function, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a wireless charging pad. However, unique only to this particular model are the GT Edition leather seats that are finished in two-tone gray and are punctuated by sporty red accents.

From its namesake, the GT Edition of the Crosstrek is powered by a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated Boxer engine that makes 150 PS with 196 Nm of torque. It is then assisted by an electric motor which provides an extra 16.7 PS and 66 Nm of pull. Power is then sent to all four wheels via a Hybrid Lineartronic CVT and Symmetrical AWD.
With the stylish crossover already in Singapore, perhaps it might not be long before Motor Image Pilipinas brings the GT Edition of the Crosstrek here. We're also hoping they will be able to offer the GT Editions of the WRX and WRX Wagon in the future.
