LTO approves Ford Everest V6 diesel for PH
Land Transportation Office releases homologation documents of Ford Everest V6 for PH sale
The timing might not be ideal considering today’s fuel prices. But for those still putting their trust on reliable diesel power for their SUVs, here’s a bit of news you will like.
Land Transportation Office has released the homologation documents of the V6 turbodiesel powered Ford Everest, which now makes it eligible for registration and sale in the country.
The approved V6 Everest comes in the form of the Platinum 4x4 variant, which is a model trim that’s a step higher than the current top-spec Titanium 4x4 being offered by Ford in the Philippine market.

The 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel is an engine that’s already found under the hood of top-tier models of the Ford Ranger and Everest in other markets, particularly in Australia. The setup delivers 250 PS and 600 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Based on the homologation papers, the Platinum variant will come with 21-inch wheels. Should Ford PH follow what other markets offer in the feature list of the Platinum, then we could expect things like a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system for a more premium listening experience inside.

That said, we should expect the Platinum to have quite a hefty price premium compared to the current top-spec Everest Titanium+ 4x4, considering the much larger engine and the added features.
The most expensive Everest in the country already retails for PHP 2,590,000, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Ford PH offers the Platinum V6 somewhere in the PHP 2.7 to 2.8 million range.
As for its official launch, we can expect Ford to hold a separate event in the coming months, as the Blue Oval is not among the brands participating in the upcoming 2026 Philippine International Motor Show.
