PIMS 2024: Nissan X-Trail e-Power previewed for PH
Nissan X-Trail returns to Philippine market with e-Power technology
Nissan Philippines successfully brought electrified mobility at a more reachable price point when they launched the Kicks e-Power a few years ago. Now, a familiar nameplate could return to the Philippine market that packs the same electrified technology under its hood.

Making its Philippine preview is the 2025 Nissan X-Trail e-Power. As it was before, the X-Trail returns as Nissan’s potential contender in the compact crossover segment. The brand is looking to join the likes of Toyota with the RAV4 HEV, Honda with the CR-V e:HEV, and Hyundai with the Tucson HEV who have decided to electrify their vehicles in the C-segment.

Much like the Kicks e-Power, the X-Trail e-Power features an electric-driven powertrain with a gasoline engine serving as a power generator for the onboard battery. The X-Trail e-Power’s electric motor puts out 203 PS and 320 Nm of torque. Along with the electrified drive system, the X-Trail e-Power also has the e-Pedal Step that allows one-pedal driving with regenerative braking.
Inside, the X-Trail e-Power comes with plenty of amenities and features for five passengers. For in-car entertainment, there’s a 12.3-inch touchscreen with smartphone connectivity and intelligent voice control that connects to the Bose premium sound system.

A fully digital instrument cluster is found behind the steering wheel, and there’s a 100V AC power inverter that puts out 1500W – capable of powering small electronic appliances.
The Nissan X-Trail e-Power is on display from October 24 to 27 at the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show at the World Trade Center Manila.
